An interesting little seminar going on, lots of bigs names, debating Bill Gates' ideas about "creative capitalism". On the subject of Bill Gates, here he is in an internal email complaining about Microsoft's products. If you've a slow afternoon ahead of you, why not help out the Freakonomics crowd with some UK TV catchphrases? My, the Americans are lucky. Their public sector projects only over run original budgets by 100%! This chart could be adapted for the UK simply by replacing "ethanol" with "wind". More odd goings on concerning the Labour Party and domain names. And finally, democracy, the headline we didn't see and how do we explain this to the cats?
