Yes, this title did indeed have to be used. I Dirt. (For those who don't get it, try here.) Those interested in finding out what is wrong with the British version of the welfare state will find elucidation here. Something more cheerful, something actually useful we could do with said welfare state. What to do if an item isn't selling? Raise the price perhaps? Might even work if it's a status good. A fish may not need a bicycle but pedigree dogs may well. Tomorrow we get the new PSBR numbers. Unlikely to be pretty. No, we really, really shouldn't be aiming at self sufficiency in food. And finally, no, not quite what they meant and how to negotiate with lawyers.
