Douglas Carswell MP speaks to the ASI's Next Generation on his new book "The End of Politics and the Birth of iDemocracy".
In "The End of Politics and the Birth of iDemocracy" Carswell argues that the west is in crisis. Governments have grown too big, living beyond their means - and ours. Should we despair? Actually, no. At the precise moment Big Government becomes unaffordable, the internet revolution makes it possible to do without it. The old political and economic order is about to give way to something vastly better. Douglas Carswell is a prolific writer, blogger and commentator. He was elected to Parliament in 2005 and Parliamentarian of the Year by readers of the Spectator.
This event is for under-30s.
