"Riots: a mob made by the welfare state"
September's TNG will be with Brendan O'Neill, editor of spiked, the online magazine. He will be talking on the subject of the recent riots and whether the mobs were made by the welfare state. Brendan has written for a wide range of publications, including the Spectator, The Guardian, BBC Online and blogs on Comment is Free. He has also co-founded 'The Manifesto Club', which aims to recreate the creative spirit of the Enlightenment for the 21st Century. Brendan will be talking for 10 minutes on the riot and you will also be able to meet him and ask questions before and after the talk.
