Dr Eamonn Butler discusses the pensions timebomb on BBC Daily Politics following the release of the Institute's report, On Borrowed Time. He argues that the state pension system is a ponzi scheme which is unsustainable in the light of an ageing population. The pension age needs to be raised further and people need to be encouraged to save into private pension systems.
