Charlotte is head of Digital Policy research at the Adam Smith Institute, covering tech-orientated developments and policy issues from privacy and censorship to piracy, intellectual property rights and cryptocurrencies. She is also the Institute’s Head of Programmes and in charge of our student outreach programmes.

She holds a degree in Politics, Economics and Philosophy from the University of Manchester and is on the Executive Board of Liberty League, a network and resource for libertarian students and young professionals.

In her spare time Charlotte likes to collect and practise taxidermy and create extravagant, oversized meals. She tweets as @EileenSpalding.
