Search tips

By default this searches for all the entered words.
The minimum number of characters for a word to perform a search is 4.

For more accurate results, please consider the following boolean expressions available in this search engine:

apple banana
» find pages that contain at least one of these words.

+apple +banana
» find pages that contain both words.

+apple newton
» find "apple", but rank the result higher if it also contains "newton".

+apple -newton
» searches for "apple" but not "newton".

+apple +(>pie
» returns answers with "apple" and "pie", or "apple" and "strudel" (in any order), but ranks "apple pie" higher than "apple strudel".

apple*
» returns answers with "apple", "apples", "applesauce", and "applet". * represents 0 or more of any characters and can only be placed at the end of a search word.

"some words"
» find pages that contain the exact phrase "some words".

Some words, called stopwords will not be searched on or marked in the results. Besides the user defined stopwords some pre-defined stopwords are for instance: "and" "he" "it" "or" "she" "that" "the" "them" "then" "there" "they" "this"
