The Next Generation

David DavisThe Next Generation serves as a social and intellectual hub for students and young professionals between the ages of 16 and 30. Past TNG members are now household names in politics, journalism and business.

Our TNG meetings bring together like-minded individuals who are interested in clasical liberal, free-market and libertarian ideas, in an informal, social and welcoming atmosphere. We normally meet on the first Tuesday of most months from 6pm until 8pm. The most common format for meetings is a ten minute talk, after which you will be able to approach the speaker in person and ask questions.

Recent TNG speakers have included:

School visits programme

The Institute has speakers available for school visits, speaking to sixth form classes. A typical speech might look at the issues involved in world trade and development, concentrating on some of the views in popular currency which are not in fact correct.

If any school has a speakers' programme for its economics or politics classes, or its sixth form generally, and would like an Adam Smith Institute speaker to visit, please get in touch with us. We have a small budget to cover expenses. Contact us on info@adamsmith.org to arrange a suitable date.
