The world's first Charter City

Some background on Paul Romer's Charter Cities idea. For what it's worth, I think this could be the most important idea in the world right now. If Hong Kong-like cities began to grow in places like Latin America, the Caribbean, West and East Africa and South-East Asia, the economic and political impact would be seizmic. The goal of giving every family on the planet the choice to move to a prosperous, free city is ambitious and achievable, and would change the world for the better. Here's hoping the Honduran Charter City is the first of many.
