It's nice to see someone actually "getting" Adam Smith, especially in relation to this creative capitalism discussion.

A little harsh perhaps, but with a vein of truth running through it. Of course politics is corrupt: it's how politicians buy support.

Something many have suspected. Yes, there is an official BBC line on the subject of climate change.

An example of foreign aid that really works: now, can we just get someone offering the same training in our own education system?

Those complaints about longer working hours: perhaps they shouldn't be complaints at all. It used to be the poor that worked long hours, now it's the rich.

A good starting point to catch up with everything John Edwards. The point is made that his entire campaign seems to have been based, if not upon a lie, at least with misleading the voters.
