If only our governors could grasp the important part of this story

Well, this is bad:

A Delta Airlines employee is accused of using a child’s iPad to record pornographic images of himself that were uploaded to the cloud.

A month after the family lost the item, wrapped in a pink Peppa Pig case, explicit images of the employee allegedly started appearing in the device’s shared cloud storage.

So, the allegation - allegation, note - is that the lost computer was picked up and used to record some less than wholesome content. Very naughty, tsk.

“In the videos, the Delta employee is masturbating while in his Delta uniform and wearing his Delta name badge,” the lawsuit claims.

Eww.

Exactly the sort of thing children should be protected from, of course. Age verification systems all ‘round!

The child is said to have discovered the images when searching for the missing iPad using the Find My app…….The lawsuit alleges that the Delta employee, who is not named in the legal filings, was also able to hack his way into the family’s Amazon account. Once inside the account, he allegedly set a new profile under the name “Gay”. The lawsuit says the family’s children saw what had happened and alerted their parents

And there’s the problem with the Online Safety Bill and all that age verification stuff. It’s the children who know how it all works. We guarantee that there’s not a primary school child in the country who doesn’t know what a VPN is and not a single secondary who does not know how to download, set up and operate one.

Really, how did we end up being ruled by people quite this ignorant of reality? After all, the point of having children is to ensure that there’s at least one person in the house who knows how to operate the TV remote. Right?
