Rally for Liberty

We were at the Conservative Party Conference to make the case for freedom.

Civil liberties in the UK are under threat. Speech is criminalised. Meritocracy is subordinated to identity politics. Bodily autonomy and freedom of choice are on the back foot. Our open society needs defending.

At the 2025 Conservative Party Conference, we hosted the Rally for Liberty to revive the party's liberal tradition. After all, it was the titanic George Canning, a Conservative Prime Minister, who was the first British politician to describe themselves as 'liberal'...

At the Rally, we also released some polling exploring what Brits think about state interference. Since the state has micromanaged the lives of British citizens for so long, it’s easy to assume that the public has gotten used to it. But, when you examine our latest nationally representative poll, a strongly libertarian British public emerges.

Our Rally for Liberty was a huge success! The Conservative Party is now one step closer to reconnecting with its liberal heritage and renewing its respect for civil liberties. Both our polling and rally were picked up across print and broadcast media. And, a host of high-profile MPs (including Rt. Hon. Chris Philp MP, Andrew Griffith MP, Katie Lam MP, Jack Rankin MP and Kevin Hollinrake MP) turned up to make the case for freedom!
