Join us for an exclusive screening of Part 1 of our landmark two-part television documentary - a profound exploration of 20th-century history that traces Communism’s harrowing descent from idealistic hope to systemic oppression.

Narrated by the acclaimed Hugh Bonneville, this film brings together esteemed historians and the courageous voices of survivors to examine how ideologies born of optimism ultimately paved the way for deprivation and slaughter under the era’s most notorious dictatorships.

  • Discussion: A 30-minute Q&A session will immediately follow the film.

Leading our Q&A is Steve Baker, Chairman of Fighting For a Free Future and a former Member of Parliament known for his fierce advocacy of classical liberal values. Driven by a profound instinct for protecting the rights of the individual, Steve will navigate the complex themes of the film, bringing his signature passion for freedom to this critical conversation on historical tyranny.

Location: Central London Cinema (TBD). The location is currently listed as the Adam Smith Institute. This will be updated once the screening venue is confirmed.

Timing: The screening will begin at 6:30 and last for 40 minutes. After this, Steve Baker will facilitate a Q&A.
