1 in 4 Labour voters say biggest burden to NHS is immigration

1 in 4 (24%) say the biggest burden to the NHS is immigration

  • This includes almost half (46%) of Labour voters who are now planning to vote for Reform;

  • Following immigration, 22% say that an ageing population is the biggest burden;

  • Those aged over 45 are more likely to say an ageing population is the biggest burden than younger Labour voters';

  • After immigration and an ageing population the biggest burdens are: Mental Health Crisis (18%), lack of social care provisions (13%), Junk food and obesity (12%), and people vaping (10%).
